Craig McAndrew has been in the counseling field since 1996, a member of the spiritual counseling team at Unity Church of Overland Park since 2001, and is the author of the book entitled, “Forgiving Judas: A Man’s Journey to Forgive His Brother.” With specialization in addictions and compulsive behaviors, Craig’s work with clients is a ‘wholistic’ approach helping them to find balance in their physical, emotional, social and spiritual lives.
Grandmothers Counsel the World - cancelled

Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers have journeyed from the four corners of the world to form an alliance. They are deeply concerned about the destruction of Mother Earth, the atrocities of war, the global scourge of poverty, the health of the Earth’s peoples, the prevailing culture of materialism, and the destruction of the indigenous ways of life.
Join us for a special DVD presentation of the award winning documentary,
‘For the Next 7 Generations’, which highlights the Spirit-led journey of the International Council of Indigenous Grandmothers. You are invited to journey with them as they visit the Amazon rainforest, mountains in Mexico and North America, and experience a private meeting with the Dalai Lama in India. Learn their vision to heal the Earth, to share their culture, and their desire to bring peace to the world. Winner Best Documentary and Best of Festival – 2010 Talking Circle and Big Island Film Festival - Hawaii. Love offering.
Terri Oglesby and Susan Johnson are passionate advocates for the Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers. Their desire is to share the information they have gathered, as well as their personal experiences of participating in the Grandmothers Council in 2009, with the intent of developing action steps that will help local communities and the world. They share a goal of providing this documentary to educate the greater Kansas City area of the mission and visions to heal the planet.
Bible Interpretation: Hebrew Scripture *

Tuesdays, January 11 thru February 8

This class is an introduction to the metaphysical interpretation of the Hebrew Scriptures in the Unity framework. Class participants will begin to understand and interpret scripture from a metaphysical perspective. There will be ample opportunity to work alone, in small groups, and the class as a whole in applying our metaphysical teachings to stories in the Hebrew Scriptures. Come and discover the richness of scripture and how its lessons can be applied in our everyday lives. Minimum registration of 10 participants required. Love offering.
Required text: The Bible (New Revised Standard Version is recommended)

Prosperity Plus – A New Way of Living

At Unity Church of Overland Park, 2011 has been designated as a year of ‘Making a Difference’. We believe in the principle that God is our Source. All that we wish to manifest in our lives and the means through which we can truly make a difference is simply waiting for us to open ourselves to it and claim it.
To support each of us in the realization of Spirit’s abundance, we are excited to offer ‘Prosperity Plus – A New Way of Living’, created by Rev. Mary Morrissey. In this program you will discover:
- Strategies for positive living ‘beyond the news’ – even in uncertain times
- Ways to open yourself to a greater flow of good
- How to generate thoughts and choices that lead to new results in life
- Tools for living each day from a state of abundance and prosperity
Each week the ‘Prosperity Plus’ program includes video presentations from Rev. Mary and her business partner Karen Joyce. Participants are asked to enter into a commitment for 10 weeks through which they will open themselves to experiencing the spiritual practices of an Abundant Life. These commitments include attendance at each class session, daily prayer on prosperity principles, and tithing of time, talent and 10% of personal income to our church home during the program.
Materials fee of $53 includes a ‘Prosperity Plus’ Guide with workbook and audio CDs for each class. Registration and payment is due by Tuesday, January 4.

Perhaps you experienced Joey Klein and his teachings on the mind and emotions last September. Now it’s time for the next level. Previously Joey spoke on how and why our good intentions to make changes can fail. He gave a 4-step manifestation practice and challenged everyone to do it every day for 30 days. In support of that practice ITS Global Charities, the non-profit group within the Institute of Transformational Studies, provided Neshamah Healing energy sessions. We hope you’ve felt supported in making those lasting changes.
Joey Klein, excited by your response, has scheduled a return visit to build on the previous teaching. He will elaborate on how to further your spiritual awakening and enlightenment by working with your Spiritual Blueprint.
What is a Spiritual Blueprint? How does it work? How does it apply to everyday life? Joey will speak on the Spiritual Blueprint of your physical body that is innate in your being, in your structure, sitting dormant. It is there awaiting your remembrance of who you really are.
