Prayer & Meditation
Prayer is at the foundation of Unity. One of the ways we fulfill our mission is through prayer. Prayer is the foundation upon which Unity was established and is at the heart of every aspect of our ministry.
Prayer Support
Prayer Chaplains are available on Sundays after both 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Celebration Services for one-on-one prayer in the sanctuary, lobby, outside the Peace Chapel (in the main hallway) and on the lower level in Harmony Hall.
You may also submit confidential prayer requests by placing a written request in one of our prayer boxes. You can find these boxes in the lobby and outside the Peace Chapel. You may also submit a prayer request. All prayer requests are held in confidence. First names only (no last name or prayer circumstances) are forwarded to our Silent Prayer Team to be held in prayer for two weeks. Prayer requests are then sent to Silent Unity to be held in prayer for another thirty days.
Requests for a call of prayer support can be left by calling 913.649.1750, ext. 3017. One of our prayer chaplains will be happy to return your call. You may also contact Silent Unity at 816.969.2000 or at www.unity.org. Prayer associates are available 24 hours a day to pray with you.
Our Heartline Prayer service offers uplifting and inspirational recorded prayer messages. These prayers can be accessed by calling our Heartline Prayer Number at 913.649.3214.
