Congregational Care Report

February 15, 2018

Affirmation of the week:  We know that, despite all appearances to the contrary there is a divine and perfect pattern for our minds, our bodies and all that out pictures in our lives.  We release our fears gently but firmly and embrace our sacred Truth.

We hold all those impacted by the shootings in Parkland, Florida in love and light, trusting that the Christ strength within them carries them through the next days and weeks with Grace and Peace.

Congratulations to Suzie Wright and Pam Enloe for being selected as volunteers of the month we are so blessed to have such caring, creative women serving our church community in so many ways.

We know perfect right action on the part of the care providers for Jana Love as she undergoes cataract surgery on Monday.  We see the Christ light within her shining brightly as wholeness shines forth.

Jerry Durrell requests healing and wholeness as he deals with health issues.  We hold both Jerry and his wife Judy in the love of God as they move through Jerry’s illness.

We acknowledge the Strength and Wholeness of Jim Bany as he recovers from knee replacement surgery.  His surgery was Jan. 14th and went very well.  We know that the process of rehab continues in this same vein and look forward to seeing him back at church soon.

We are holding Jim and Janet Barnett in God’s perfect love as Jim has been hospitalized with pneumonia.  We know each care giver is divinely guided and trust in divine order as the next steps in his care emerge.

We hold Nancy Vobedja in love and light as she continues to recover from her foot surgery.  We see her rehab moving along perfectly as we affirm her Christ Strength and we see each caregiver divinely guided as they continue her care.

We know that the Love and Light of God indwells every cell and fiber of Anna Wiley’s being a she awaits a more definitive diagnosis related to neurological symptoms.  We know Peace and Grace indwells her and allows her to know her Truth clearly.

Please know perfect divine guidance for Jan Chapman as she leaves UCOP for a position that better meets her needs and utilizes her many creative skills.  Jan will be missed as she was the force behind much of our graphic material, and kept us moving forward as deadlines loomed.  Thank you, Jan, for who you are and the light you shared with UCOP.

We continue to surround Jim and Donna Sherman with ease as Donna underwent surgery for a broken wrist on February 1st after falling the previous week.  We know Donna’s wholeness as her body responds to spirit, healing quickly and easily.

We know that Betsy Atkinson is recovering easily and effortlessly from her surgery.  We are happy to hold her in the highest light knowing that the Strength of the Christ provides all that she needs to move forward.

We hold each congregant and every visitor who comes through the doors of our ministry in Love and Light as we see the wholeness of each, and behold the Christ as everyone.   We are Peace, and we call it forth in all situations around the globe.
