Nutrition Kitchen

Naturally, we would all love to eat healthier.  But how do we prepare healthy meals that actually taste great and don’t  cost an arm and a leg?  Chef Gary Hild will show participants of the Nutrition Kitchen how to prepare delicious and nutritious meals inexpensively, with items most of us have around the house already.   

Leaders Chef Gary Hild and Gary Spaulding have a passion for food preparation.  Chef Gary is the Executive Chef of the Kansas City Culinary Center. His love for cooking is exceeded only by his passion for teaching and mentoring others. He has been in the culinary industry for years and has taught at the KC Culinary Center since it opened in 1998. 

Gary Spaulding is a longtime UCOP member who has served enthusiastically on our Hospitality, Potluck and Special Event teams managing the logistics of feeding many people with grace and love.
