Writing Effective Letters and Comments
Sunday, January 7, 2017

Harmony Hall 3

Did you know that one well-written letter to your Congregational Representative or the Federal Register is worth 1,000 form letters? Do you know how to write such a letter? How to cite evidence and convince them that they're wrong? If not, then this is just the workshop for you.
Join us Sunday, January 7, after services conclude. We'll use the pending "Clean Power Plan Repeal" proposal as a case study. You'll learn how to understand an issue and the justification for it, how to develop the rationale against it and find appropriate citations and references. Armed with this information, you’ll learn how to write an effective letter/comment.
In these challenging times, it is important that activated citizens stand up and be heard. But it is even more important that they do so in a way that gets results.
